Klarna is a global financial company based in Sweden with 3,500 employees worldwide. Videopro provided an Audio Visual solution for their Sydney office which caters upwards of 50 staff. The project included 16 rooms ranging from small meeting spaces to town halls. Videopro also supplied and installed over 100 desk arms and monitors.
The project was prompt as the client inherited an existing fit out from another company who had vacated during COVID-19. The design of the upgraded fit out is well suited to Klarna’s young and dynamic team and was finished to an exceptional standard.
Through an open and honest dialogue, Videopro were able to strategise with Klarna’s IT team who were leading the project on critical spaces and made them a priority for delivery. As the space was previously tenanted it was difficult for the AV team to gain access prior to the project’s acceptance and as a result there were some elements of the initial design that didn’t work as well in practice. For example, there was an existing Bose PA system that was less than 6 months old in one space. Understanding that a replacement was completely unnecessary, the allowance was used to upgrade the size of the displays in several areas thus giving them greater visual impact for Klarna’s internal and external meetings. Despite the number of rooms, the delivery was straight forward once these minor design changes were made.
Each meeting room utilised Philips commercial panels, Google Chromebox Hangout Meeting Kits and a Logitech Rally Conference Camera in the larger VC spaces. Room booking was provided to all spaces via iPads. The spectacular town hall space provides a dual 55” display and two enormous 96” Newline non-touch displays for wireless presentation. The audio is reinforced by 12 pendant speakers, Biamp DSP and amplifiers, Biamp ceiling microphones and additional Shure handheld and head worn microphones for speeches. This space is equipped with the Google Hangout Kit, along with Logitech Rally Cameras to capture the speaker and the audience alike. Control of the system is via an iPad, providing the presenter full control of any screen and content from anywhere in the space. The end result was a successfully delivered project that exceeded the clients needs.
