Aurizon

Aurizon had outgrown its multiple site office structure and needed to consolidate staff to regain efficiencies in the workplace. In doing so, they took up primary tenancy in a new building which needed the technology appropriate to a new, Smart Workplace. Videopro’s proficiency in this Smart Workplace context has been well proven within the industry and was the obvious choice for this project.

This project included 77 spaces across four levels ranging from small huddle rooms to meeting spaces to high-end boardrooms and combinable function rooms. This was a greenfield site that provided a blank canvas. Videopro was the perfect choice because of our experience and expertise with the chosen ACA web-based control system that was deployed.

QTC’s new offices are three levels of 111 Eagle St in the CBD. Part of that relocation was to provide all the technology required to support daily QTC operations, provide spaces to further support its clients and create a workspace for its staff that was functional and effortless. The project scope included meeting rooms, shared spaces, training rooms, and digital signage.

UQ’s studio contact, Paul, was asked what his overall goal was for this project. His goals were to construct a multipurpose area where students can be taught studio functions, but also a place where they could record and livestream lectures. Videopro’s main objective is to find out what the customer wants and then come up with a design that best suits what they are looking to do.

Griffith University is a public research university in South East Queensland on the east coast of Australia. Formally founded in 1971, Griffith opened its doors in 1975, introducing Australia’s first degrees in environmental science and Asian studies. Opening initially with the one campus at Nathan and 451 students, the University now has five campuses spanning three cities, with campuses in Brisbane, Logan and on the Gold Coast. It has over 44,000 students and offers a full suite of undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees.

Gall Boys

First established in 1962, selling caravans and manufacturing their own Kedron brand for 12 years, Barry Gall and his family came up with an idea - to take one of their caravans for a test run over the Kimberley’s and film it as a way of showing areas that could be experienced with an off road van in tow. Glen Gall came to Videopro to ask for advice and to upgrade their Sony consumer Hi8 cameras. Since this first meeting in 2004 the Gall Boys have continued to come back to Videopro for all their production needs.

The Centre includes a 600-seat auditorium, a 250-seat lecture theatre, and a range of other teaching and general access computing spaces, as well as a restaurant and shops.
